Jonathan Maberry's Like Part of the Family. A hard boiled detective story with a spice of vampires and werewolves.

Other note worthy titles that I liked.

The Key by Lisa Black, Hecate's Golden Eye by P.N. Elrod, The Maltese Unicorn by Caitlin Kiernan.

Other shorts in this anthology were good but above being my overall favorites. I now have two more favorite characters to look out for.
